Continuing with pieces from my scrapped “Project: Courage”, I present to you a collection of feats centered around the courage/bravery theme.
Back to the Wall
When there is nowhere to run, you stand your ground.
Prerequisites: Courageous Resolve or Fearless Curiosity, bravery class feature
Benefit: Whenever you are in a threatened square and unable to take a 5-foot step away due to obstacles or foes, you may halve the penalty to your attacks when you fight defensively. If you are shaken, add +1 to all damage rolls.
Improved Back to the Wall
Even when cornered, you do not give into fear.
Prerequisites: Back to the Wall
Benefit: While panicked and unable to flee, you may choose to fight defensively. If shaken, frightened, or panicked, you may add your bonus from the bravery class feature to all damage rolls.
Bravery Knows No Bounds
Every experience only adds to your resolve.
Prerequisites: bravery class feature
Benefit: Your bravery bonus is based on your fighter level plus one for every two levels or Hit Dice other than fighter.
Prerequisites: inspire courage and lay on hands class features
Benefit: As an immediate action, you can expend one use of lay on hands to double the range of all your paladin aura class features for a number of rounds equal to your Cha bonus.
